Conversation and Screening
In honor of Tom of Finland Foundation’s 40th Anniversary, a weekend of events took place supporting the Tom of Finland Foundation and The Queer Culture and Arts Foundation (QCAF), a Pines-based non-profit. Produced by Fire Island Tea in conjunction with the Naughty Pine, BOFFO, Froot Falls, Champ, and Chrome Horse. An immersive weekend was themed to celebrate queer, erotic art and culture.
On June 10, 2024 was an art demonstration by “thread painter” Sal Salandra. Followed by a discussion and conversation on Cruising: Past, Present, and Future. Panelists included Eli Martin, the CMO + Creative Director of Sniffies, artists Gio Black Peter and Sal Salandra, and was moderated by Marc Christensen, Editor in Chief of Fire Island Tea.
